Description
Sandeveria, originally comes from tropical Africa and is a former genus of about 70 species of flowering plants in the asparagus family (Asparagaceae), now placed in genus Dracaena based on phylogenetic data. Many of the species have water resistant leaf fibres that are used to manufacture ropes and bowstrings and several others are grown as ornamentals for their attractive foliage or structure.
This plant is also known as Mother-in-Law’s Tongue or Snake Plant because of its yellow striped leaves and tiny pale green scented flowers.
